Dr Allyn Forsyth is a career life sciences executive and currently the VP of Singlera Genomics, Infectious Disease Division. He has directed the development of multiple technologies from inception to operational status, including: antibiotic discovery/ natural product deconvolution platform, pathogen detection methods and liquid biopsy solutions for cancer and prenatal diagnostics. He has also held founding or senior positions at Elitra Pharmaceuticals, Merck, GHC technologies and FLIR. Dr Forsyth participates in the NSF I-Corps entrepreneurship program among other mentoring opportunities and is an adjunct professor at SDSU. He received his Ph.D in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from UCSD, a B.S. in Cell Biology from UCLA and was an NIH Fellow.
