Lisa Carmel has 25+ years of international marketing and commercialization of healthcare and consumer packaged goods (CPG) products with companies, such as P&G in the US, Europe and China. She was co-founder of a healthcare-focused management consultancy with clients, such as MedImmune, Agilent and Emergent Biocides, before joining the founding startup team of a commercialized medical device.
Lisa now focuses on helping early stage startups with commercialization strategy, partnering, fundraising and investor relations. Most recently she has worked in wearables, diagnostics, medical devices and digital health and consults to a wide range of clients, such as Siolta Therapeutics, MicrobeDx, Sano Intelligence and SightLife. She has achieved a proven track record in launching healthcare startups with strategies that connect with physicians, engage patients, leverage partnerships and build businesses.
Lisa is based in San Francisco and serves on many advisory boards supporting women’s issues, such as CSweetener.org, a non-profit, which advances and mentors women to the c-suite in healthcare.
