M J Whitehouse
MJ Whitehouse is a UCSF-trained physician who is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology and works as an independent consultant in drug development. Her work includes advising startups on clinical and regulatory strategy, providing second opinions on plans and timelines, as well as due diligence on new opportunities. In the past, she has played key management roles for more than 12 companies, leading virtual teams, driving development to create value for investors, and participated in raising >$250M in venture capital funding.
She founded JumpStart BioDevelopment in 2001 to focus on startups as an independent consultant. Her most recent award was for “22 years of unstoppable fun” in vintage racing.
