Invitae staff role play a genetic counseling session and diagram family history for students at STEM Career Day.

Over 120 students from Balboa, Burton, June Jordan and Lincoln High Schools in San Francisco participated in the fourth annual STEM Career Day on March 7, 2018.  Each student joined two of 23 tours at local STEM organizations and companies, including Bayer, Chan Zuckerberg BioHub, Illumina, Invitae, Phylagen, and more.  During lunch, students participated in round tables with over 40 volunteers from industry.

Organized by UCSF Science and Health Education Partnership (SEP), the Career Day is supported by Bayer, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Salesforce and the Cancer Cell Map Initiative (CCMI).
