Meet the California Life Sciences Team

Steve Karp manages the FAST advisory program for CLS.  He has extensive expertise in alliance, program and operations management in the life sciences, including the business development, finance, regulatory and legal spheres, predominantly in small and startup companies. He has directed development projects for biologics, small molecules, and medical devices, as well as managing multiple successful medical device tech transfer programs, domestic and international. Prior to working with the FAST program, he gained his biopharma operations experience in companies such as Intrexon, Neugenesis, Genentech and Discovery Partners.  He has also run operations at companies developing and producing electronic and invasive critical medical devices.
